The newly reunited Black Sabbath (with a replacement drummer for Bill Ward) just played their second show of 2012 at the Download festival in the U.K. last weekend. Complete audio of the show has surfaced online in a series of Youtube clips.
The band predictably drew from their deep well of classics like “Iron Man,” “N.I.B.,” and “Fairies Wear Boots,” capping it off with an encore of “Paranoid.” No brand new songs, yet.
Despite Ward dropping out of the band’s reunion plans, longtime Ozzy Osbourne drummer Tommy Clufetos has filled in admirably, even adding a drum solo in the middle of the set. He will accompany Ozzy, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler on their final show of the year as they headline the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on Friday, August 3.
